Sounds Trainer

The SimPad Sounds Trainer allows for teaching multiples of students in auscultation and recognition of normal and abnormal heart, lung and bowel sounds.

Bowel Sounds

• Hyperactive
• Borborygmus
• Hypoactive
• Fetal Normal 140 BPM
• Fetal Tachycardia 200 BPM
• Fetal Tachycardia 100 BPM

Vocal Sounds (adult male)

• Coughing
• Vomiting
• Screaming
• Moaning
• SOB Breathing

General Information

A SimPad PLUS System is required for operation of the SimPad Sounds Trainer. The SimPad PLUS System is sold separately. Learn more about SimPad PLUS

Sounds Trainers with a putty colored connection cable can be used with a VitalSim Control Box directly. In order to use this trainer with a SimPad System, an adapter cable will be needed - item: 200-30450.

Sounds Trainers with a black connection cable can be used with a SimPad PLUS System directly (no adapter cable required).
