The addition of reverse polarity protection means the light and battery are safe in the event you install the battery incorrectly.

The MT1A Pro is crafted with a solid, hard-anodized aluminum alloy body that is prepared for rough-and-tumble use. The light's heavy-duty construction is resistant to drops from up to 2m (6.56ft) in height and earns an IP68 protection rating against sand, dust, and water exposure. The tail switch was even thoughtfully made with the ability to stand the light up, providing an area light source during power outages.
